Today was a good day

Wife and I closed on our current home today.  We are pleased that we finally got paid.  We went back to the house and packed the stuff the movers did not take.  Afterwards we took our sick a$$'s home.

Time to relax and bask in the glory of something nice working out for us.  Talked to the PM today and he said this upcoming week they will be putting up siding, flooring, cabinets, and finishing the drywall.

Biggest check I ever got!
We do 15 year mortgages and frequently pay extra.  I'm not a financial wiz
but that is my life savings for the first 39 years.  Thanks mom and dad without them
this would not be possible.
